Pick Up The Pace, Sis!

Hello, my beautiful LDH tribe, and welcome to March—one of my absolute favourite months of the year! Why? Because it's International Women's Day, a time when we, as women, come together to celebrate, uplift, and push for real change.

You might not know this, but we pick a colour palette for LDH every month. This March, it's green—and let me tell you, that couldn't be more fitting. Green signifies growth, and when Kim told me that the theme for the International Women's Day theme this year is Accelerate Action, I nearly fell off my chair!

Why? Well, at the LDH Sisterhood Christmas Gala, God gave me a word for this year: Pick Up The Pace. Doesn't that just fit perfectly? Accelerate action. Pick up the pace. It's all about moving forward together. How's that for alignment?

So what does this mean for us? It means we can't afford to stay still. It means we need to be intentional about pushing forward - whether it's in our career, relationships, faith or personal growth.

How do we accelerate action? We push! We ensure that when one of us is ready for that promotion, she gets it. If a sister needs a foot in the door, we hold it open for her. If you know someone hiring, send your sister's CV. Let's be clear: We don't rise alone; we rise together.

But picking up the pace isn't just about work or business. It doesn't mean you must launch a massive project or take on the world in one go. Sometimes, it just means taking one step. Maybe it's praying a little more to deepen your relationship with God. It could be stepping out more and meeting new people, picking up a new hobby, or simply showing up for yourself in a way you haven't before.

Whatever it is, this is your sign to stop waiting and start moving. Pick up the pace on your dreams, healing, goals - whatever sets your soul on fire. I encourage you to share your journey with us, whether a small step or a big leap. Let's inspire each other with our progress.

Because forward is forward, sis. No matter how fast or slow - just keep moving move. Remember, we're all in this together, united in our journey towards empowerment and growth.

I love you,

LeAnne
